u5 Soft Lacrosse Free
Introducing Lacrosse to Our Lil’ Hawks
The Fort Erie Hawks introduced free registration for our youngest division to help welcome new players and families to the sport. This free program is available to children turning 3 and 4 years old in the current playing year, allowing us to introduce Canada’s national summer sport to several new players and families each season.
Whether your child is interested in box lacrosse or men’s field lacrosse in the future, Soft Lacrosse is where our coaches and volunteers help young athletes learn the game and fall in love with lacrosse. The program focuses on learning the FUNdamentals in a safe, encouraging environment, alongside a parent or guardian.
To ensure a safe and positive experience, one parent or guardian must accompany each player on the floor during all sessions. All on-floor helpers must be registered as a “Volunteer” prior to participating. There is no cost to register as a volunteer. This is required to ensure all participants are covered under Ontario Lacrosse Association (OLA) insurance.
