u7 house League
Where Lil’ Hawks Learn to Play Lacrosse
The Fort Erie Hawks U7 (Paperweight) House development program is designed for young athletes turning 5 or 6 years old in the current season and introduces players to lacrosse in a fun, development-focused environment right here in the community. There are no tryouts for U7 House development, making it an accessible entry point for both new and returning players.
U7 House development builds fundamental skills while introducing structured gameplay, teamwork, and age-appropriate competition through a 3-on-3 game format. Contact is modified at this division, allowing players to “place and push” on the ball-carrier’s arm, while off-ball contact is penalized at all times. The season concludes with a U7 Fun Day, featuring games, skills competitions, and a Pizza Party, reinforcing the program’s focus on learning, development, and enjoyment of the game in a local, community-based setting with no travel required.
