The Fort Erie Minor Lacrosse Association (FEMLA), proudly established in 1993, is committed to promoting and developing amateur lacrosse for youth throughout Fort Erie and the surrounding area. Built on a foundation of community spirit, sportsmanship, and teamwork, our association strives to enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of every player who steps onto the floor.

FEMLA currently offers box lacrosse programs throughout the summer, providing athletes of all ages and skill levels with a fast-paced, exciting, and supportive environment to learn and grow in Canada’s national summer sport.

Our dedication to development and community pride is reflected in our accomplishments — including provincial championship banners in 1998 and 2006, earned through the passion, hard work, and commitment of our players, coaches, and volunteers.

Whether you're new to the sport or continuing your lacrosse journey, FEMLA is proud to welcome you into our lacrosse family.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the lands on which we gather to play lacrosse, traditionally known by Indigenous peoples as the Creator’s Game, are the traditional territory of the Attawandaronk, the Haudenosaunee, and the Anishinaabe peoples. These lands are connected to historic agreements such as the Dish With One Spoon, the Two Row Wampum, and the Treaty of Niagara, which reflect principles of peace, friendship, mutual respect, and shared stewardship. We recognize lacrosse as a sacred game gifted by the Haudenosaunee and honour the Indigenous peoples who have preserved and shared the game across generations. The Fort Erie Hawks are committed to learning, respect, and responsible stewardship of the land, today and for future generations.
